Shire of Phoenix Glade Demo at the Library, 19 May 07
The Household of Gryphon's Keep participated in an event held by the Ft Walton Beach Library called "Joust Read". The demo was a huge success and we have already
been invited to do it again next year. As with the Heritage Museum Demo we set up a medieval encampment that included a spinning wheel, warrior campaign
pavilion, and a table full of armor and weapons on display. Our fight demo was 30 minutes long and included a cutting demo, followed by SCA combat. Scottish War Drums were provided by Todd Hanning "Angus" during the fighting adding a new dimension to the combat!

Shire of Phoenix Glade Demo in the Park, 28 Apr 07
On 28 April 2007 The Household of Gryphon's Keep took part in the annual Saturday in the Park event at the Heritage Museum in Val Paraiso, FL. The demo included
a historical warriors on campaign encampment with period weapons and armor on display, a spinning wheel and loom actually being used, a display on glass
bead making, and of course a fighting demo.
Cub Scout Demo 17 Nov 06 - Gryphon's Keep and House Swordborn combine to put on a demonstration for the Cub Scouts of Santa Rosa FL. The event included
the history of swords and armor, a live steel cutting demonstration, heavy combat, and an opportunity for each of the Cub Scouts to fight the "Knights". Cub Scouts found
worthy were dubbed Honorary Knights!

Lord Larian posing in some Roman Era armour wielding a Gladius. These pictures were briefly used as the product displays for that armour at Arms of Valor, Ltd.
Thomas and Lord Larian dressed up for a Renissance Faire. I think we were fighting over the bar wench.
